The NFL was cool with throwback jerseys and different color helmets until the fall of 2013, when the rule about helmet colors suddenly became a safety issue.

Since then, no team has altered their helmet color.

I don't think the throw backs would look good with the current helmet. Either silver helmet with the throw backs or nothing.

All Blue at home.

All Grey away.

Alternate uniform could then be something to celebrate the past.

I'll be at this game & I hope this rumor is true. I'd love to see it.

I may be in the minority, but those neon green, glow-in-the-dark unis they wore last year for a game or 2 were horrible.

Nope Home team picks their colors, remember the Chargers making us wear the darks in Roland's 250,000 Kelvin game a few years ago, I think the Cards pulled that on us a few times as well.

You're misunderstanding me. Officially all teams have white jersey's as their "away" uniform. Certain teams choose to wear white at home (Cowboys, Dolphins).

Assuming the Seahawks are at home and wearing blue, can anyone name an opponent that wouldn't be wearing white (that isn't an alternate)?

I said no alternates. Color rush is an alternate and special promotion by the league.

I can go and look at all 32 teams to see if any don't have White away jerseys but was hoping someone knew off the top of their head.

I'm 95% positive all teams have a white jersey.

I have no idea if that's a rule. It probably is.

Would be cooler if it wasn't though.
