You can't extrapolate playoff performance to how dudes would do throughout OTAs/TC and the whole season.

Marshawn's running on playoff fuel, which hopefully will take him and us further. But even Pete said he didn't see Marshawn having more than five games in him at the time of the resigning. That was the last SF game plus the playoff run.

Homer as a back is small, not ideal for running the Beast power run model that PC likes--far less than Carson or Penny. He is the CJ Prosise of next year, in for situational snaps, lot of ST work.

Uh no. Not even close.

In addition to the quantitative measures that have been posted in these forums showing the Seahawks with the #1 or #2 most injuries measured by player games missed, you could actually make a qualitative argument that the Seahawks losing their top three running backs all at once, given the construction and identity of that offense, is the most devastaing loss to any offensive unit in the NFL this year short of starter QB injuries.

We don't even know if Lynch has his second gear back. If he breaks a run and gets daylight, can he reach even Carson speeds, or does he get lapped like T.J. Duckett?

No comparison altho I do love the effort beast puts out. Would be tacklers still take a pounding trying to bring him down. In his glory years he would gain the yards and TDS but what he seemed best at was wearing down a defense

I would say that's only about the same level of crazy. If you're trying to one up the OP then you need to propose something like Tedric/Lano > Quandre/Bradley.

At this exact moment, I'd definitely take Homer/Lynch over Carson/Penny. Carson and Penny would get crushed out there if they tried to play on their injuries.

Both run with physical abandon, both block, both catch both have decent speed.
