So, as irrational as it sounds, if I'm watching the hawks and we win I always make sure i wear the same jersey the following week. So week one I had my throwback largent top on, continued with it until the loss to the Saints. Since then I've switched to a seahawks 76 top I have . (We are 2 & 2 in my Largent top, won a superbowl in my white beast mode jersey and lost a superbowl in my blue russ Jersey which I've never worn on game day since lol. Currently 8-0 in my 76 top....

Veterans of the old .net chat will remember that my Seahawks hat usually plays a role in the team's fortunes.

We have a lucky Seahawks beanie hat here that was undefeated when brought out in gameday times of high anxiety. It was retired after XLVIII so as not to test the patience of the football gods. The plan is to put it behind glass, in a frame with the two SB tickets, with a small pin hammer attached and a sign saying "In case of emergency..." etc etc.

Think I shall make a game day ref doll....so I can poke it with a needle a LOT.

Problem there is what ref will it affect? I dont know how to control the voodoo that I do.

I always have my morning coffee out of 1 of my 3 Seahawk cups.
I always put on 1 of my Seahawk shirts & a pair Seahawk socks.
I started serving salt & pepper chicken wings for kickoff on my big screen TV this year.

Other than these few I have no superstitions.

I'm not very superstitious when it comes to football. Tend to believe my actions have zero impact on the men on the field. I am not that important to the universe.

What do you use to clean off your TV after you serve chicken wings on it? :p

Same shirt, same socks
Pants are arranged in order based on the moon's position
Avoid picking the Hawks in Aros Fearless thread, even if it ruffles feathers
Smear Pepto Bismol under my right eye on every 12th day of the month
Place a bet against the Seahawks at Northern Quest.

Other than that, nothing weird

You’re selling yourself short Mr. Thortan. You are very important to the football universe!

If I'm watching the game and the I opponent is attempting a game winning FG with under a minute left, I say "Game over Hawks lose" First time I did it was against the Giants in '05. As far as I can remember it's worked every time.

Unfortunately I wasnt able to watch the game against the Falcons during Russ's rookie year.

I have a certain spot I like to watch games from when I'm not at the stadium. I was running some errand for most of the 1st quarter last week and was listening to the game on the radio. As soon as I got home, I sat in that spot, and the tide started turning.

This is quite possibly true.

In my case, I refuse to turn off the set when the Seahawks are taking a beating. In the end, my efforts to continue watching the game, even though it's for all intents/purposes, a lost cause, has payed off big time.
I'll note the NFCG against the Packers, the deep freeze game against the Vikings and the previous two games this season(wide right kick, comeback from 20-6)

Almost worked in that playoff game against the Panthers too!

In the end I'll just say " you're welcome "

I do lots of ridiculous stuff, knowing it doesn't actually have any supernatural effect on the game. It's just a little fun.

I always wear Seahawks socks while watching the game and follow this procedure: If the Seahawks are behind by 1 score, I turn one of the socks inside out; 2 scores, both inside out. If they're down by 3 scores, I take one off, etc.

I've gone through quite a few pairs, because I throw them away at the end of the season (except one particular pair that lasted 2 seasons... Those got thrown away after Patriots SB loss).
