I would love to see Hatcher come here on a 1 year deal. He's in his 9th year which coincidentally was his best to date. He's getting near the end of his career and this opportunity might be his last to make it to the Super Bowl. I think he would be a good fit for us.

They're saying the number on Allen is 7-8apy, that seems too high to me.

He's got a lot of miles on those tires. He may be ripe for a decline.

One thing is sure, JS/PC is all about the DL in FA, the rest of the team, draft and develop.

Allen no longer coming for a visit tells me that the Hawks weren't even willing to entertain his price range, or they told him to hold off on visiting until Hatcher's visit is over.

My guess is if we sign Hatcher, there won't be any D-Line money left for Allen. Personally I'd rather sign Hatcher, now that we lost McDonald interior line help is more important.

From what I heard on the radio today, I really doubt that John Schneider will pay those "big bucks" that Allen is throwing around. John can be a "tight wad" at times.
