Katy Perry is having her news conference on NFLN and someone asked her who she was rooting for and she said she's friends with Russell Wilson and is rooting for the Seahawks. In the question it was mentioned that Idina Menzel was also rooting for the Seahawks.

“I love the Seahawks because of Russell Wilson, so I think I’m gonna go for them on Sunday,” Perry said at a halftime-show press conference Thursday in Phoenix.

“Nothing in my halftime performance will be deflated,” Perry said, referring with a wink to the New England Patriots’ “Deflategate” controversy.

At some point in Thursday’s conference, someone asked Perry whether she had her eye on any of the football players this weekend.

“I’m just here so I don’t get fined,” she replied.

The questioner followed up, saying she could introduce Perry to Seattle’s Marshawn Lynch.

“I’m just here so I don’t get fined,” Perry repeated to big laughter from the crowd.
