There were also legit penalties that should have been called on Seattle that weren't called. Refs were bad for both sides.

If you are looking at the refs to blame this loss on, you are looking in the wrong place. There was no aggregiously incorrect calls. Were some ticky tack? sure. Was our lack of being ably to adjust for the blitz every other down more of the cause? Absolutely.

Did lockette pull the DB to the ground? No, but he did grab his arm and pull. That is OPI, like it or not.

There is no NFL conspiracy. I Watched several blatant false starts and offensive holding on our guys not called. As always, it goes both ways. Could you imagine the amount of revenue lost if just ONE ref came out and said the head office told him to favor one team or the other? This conspiracy theory is totally ridiculous. Our lack of offensive strategy coming into the game and inability to realize it and adjust was why we lost. And we absolutely deserved to lose not only this game, but the last one as well. You can only get lucky once in a while. You can't bank on it.
Completely agree, and are people forgetting that Sherm got away with a PI in the end zone that gives them a first and goal at the 1 and a likely TD?

I haven't been this frustrated with officiating since Feb 3, 2006. AWFUL calls today. Both OPI calls were absolutely bogus, the PI on Kam was retarded, the Facemask on Marsh was ticky tack at best, just to name a few.
the PI on Kam was an easy call. If he turns his head and makes just a small effort to play the ball he gets a pick
Yeah, not quite sure how this one was in question.

The entire thought that the refs/NFL had it out for us today is ridiculous if you watched the 186 false starts by Sowell without them being called.
That is what we were talking about at the bar, he could have been called so many times.

Definitely should have been called on Sherman. I did think the pass interference on Lockett was ridiculous (he did not grab, he put his arm up to catch the ball and came in contact with the defender). Most of the rest was less than adequate officiating with horrible calls or lack of calls going both ways. The refs were really bad today but it was on both sides, Sowell could have been called for so many false starts.

You seriously wanna put the blame on the refs when the offense managed 3 points all day?

Well, in their defense, that OPI on Lockett took the Seahawks out of FG range. That is the difference between kicking g for OT at worse on the final drive, or being forced to go for the TD.

The Rams were looking at 0-6 start to their season without a couple of calls today....it was pretty clear that it was going to be that type of day, but at end of the day, Carolina, Seattle, Green Bay and Arizona are all 1-1 and the 2-0 teams (Giants and Vikings) are spotty at best with injuries or pieces that need massive improvement.

I am not concerned about the Rams, they won their Super Bowl and should be happy...A good team doesn't call a team meeting for Game 2, as your home opener to beg the rest of the team to play 60 minutes against a division rival.

BINGO - The refs can be bad and boy they have shown that in many games over the years. While the narrative certainly fits for the NFL to "fix" this game for the Rams to win, being the1st game in LA in 20 years, that's all it is, a narrative. This loss is solely on our O-line. They may have performed terrible but I believe they they played right up to expectation. Face it, they are the red-headed step child of this team.
