Like Coach Don James always told his players: "Act like you've done it a million times before."

Cam Newton must have some serious amnesia.

Not only does he do the ball drop, he also does a hilariously silly wave as he walks away.

Browner was absolutely the one who put down the groundwork of the LOB. Here we had this cornerback that was physical any safety, as tall as most receivers and as nasty as they come. He was the epitome of the Legion.

That angle wasn't aired during the broadcast, so they either cut away from the camera or used someone else's coverage. None of the other angles even show him dropping the ball.

That was Lynch letting the #2 Defense that year know that scoring on them is just that easy.

Getting your first TD in the 3rd quarter is far from rolling over a #2 ranked defense.

I'd try again.

Make no mistake about it:

Twenty years from now people will be talking about that Seahawk defense.

Nobody will be talking about their offense. Lynch, maybe.

And no one will talk about the Niners.

Well, it was only week 2 when it happened and not quite the same as the 2012 shellacking that was 42-13. SF may have been the #2 overall defense by the end of 2013, but it was way too early in the season to use that final ranking as a judging factor.
