My first mock draft using this tool had to be aborted due to technical issues, but I went WR Kelvin Benjamin in Round 1 and DT Kelcey Quarles (South Carolina) in R2. I started again and relied on Rotoworld to help in making decisions. Amusingly, in this draft, Derek Carr went #4 to the Browns, with Johnny Football falling all the way to the Arizona Cardinals(!).

R1: DT Ra'shede Hageman, Minnesota: Seriously consider David Yankey or Xua Su'a-Filo at this position, but I decided the development work on Michael Bowie and Alvin Bailey needed to be given a chance to pay off. First round talent at WR had disappeared, and I couldn't justify going TE for Austin Sefarian-Jenkins at this time.

R2: WR Brandon Coleman, Rutgers I sincerely considered Iowa TE CJ Fiedorowicz here for the combination of his skills. Ultimately, however, there is nothing fundamentally wrong with the Hawks TE game, even if the position could theoretically be improved. Coleman's a relatively easy pick here, though I long considered Martavis Bryant.

R4: DE Demarcus Lawrence, Boise State: Seahawks go Best Players Available here and select Demarcus Lawrence to add pass rushing ability to the defense line. A useful addition regardless of whether or not Michael Bennett remains in Seattle.

R5: C Tyler Larsen, Utah State: With Max Unger likely beginning his decline, the Hawks add depth behind Lemuel Jeanpierre with a Center prospect who could potentially make life easier for Marshawn Lynch and his associates.

R5: QB Tajh Boyd, Clemson: Seahawks grab a player with significant skill and potential to improve overall quality at the quarterback position. Obviously, this scenario is unlikely to come to pass.

R6: WR Jalen Saunders, Oklahoma: I personally believe that Golden Tate will be - or, should be - the odd man out for the Seahawks in the contractor carousel this year. With that in mind, the Seahawks grab Saunders, a player with weight to add but offering potential explosiveness in the return and slot receiving game.

R7: CB Ricardo Allen, Purdue: Seahawks take a flier on a player with the personality characteristics that Carroll and Schneider look for in hopes that they can develop his physical skills into a useful player in nickel packages.

Because I'm bored and there is no football on anywhere, I decided to do one for Jacksonville. Basically the same types of players, but with a lot better draft picks. Here's what I got.

Rd 1 Jadeveon Clowney
Rd 2 Ra'shede Hageman
Rd 3 Carlos Hyde
Rd 4 Jimmy Garoppolo
Rd 4 Keith Mcgill
Rd 5 Bashaud Breeland
Rd 5 Lamin Barrow
Rd 5 Seantrel Henderson
Rd 6 Cody Latimer
Rd 7 Marcel Jensen

Man, what a load of picks they have. It almost makes me worry about them poaching our guys since they have such a huge quantity of picks. I hope their GM isn't half as mind melded with Bradley as PC/JS are.

It didn't take as long as expected, so I drafted 7 rounds:

Pick 32: OT CYRUS KOUANDJIO, ALABAMA--Most mocks have him going way earlier. Typical big Alabama OL who could play either tackle position. We need such a guy bad. We saw that we were a couple of injuries away from disaster at the OT position. McQuistrian should never again be put at Tackle.

Pick 64: WR BRANDON COLEMAN, RUTGERS--I'm buying what you guys are selling with this WR prospect. Seems like he has great potential. Hope his college stats don't matter as much as I usually think.

Pick 128: G TRAI TURNER, LSU--Proven successful O-lineman. Again, biggest need in this draft is O-line talent, and he fits the bill.

Pick 134: DE GEORGE UKO, USC--Potential. I see it. He should have stayed one more year at USC to give scouts more to see because he was impressive as an underclassman. I like this pick because Uko has shown he can play both DT and DE much like Bennett. I can see him developing into a Bennett-like player.

Pick 160: OT SEANTREL HENDERSON, MIAMI---Talk about the potential STEAL OF THE DRAFT, if he doesn't screw it up. My goodness, this guy was the greatest O-line recruit out of high school in years but found himself suspended at Miami for much of each year he's played. How do you get suspended at Miami? He must be pretty stupid in that regard, but the dude has the size and quickness and hands to play Tackle and, if he focuses, he could be great. Just let Tom Cable get to him and whip him into shape.

Pick 192: TE CROCKETT GILMORE, COLORADO STATE--had a great senior bowl and looks to be tall and fast. Good blocker, runs a 4.8, a Willson-like prospect.

Pick 224: DE ETHAN WESTBROOKS, WEST TEXAS A&M--I dig these small-school sleepers and this dude racked up 19.5 sacks last year. I don't care who he was playing against, that's damn impressive domination.
