Dilfer absolutely should not have raised the 12th man flag this year and he has been biased against our team this season.
That being said, his attitude is understandable. He has always had positive things to say about the Seahawks organization and fans as a whole, he just took the bros before coaches thing a little bit too seriously this year. Dilfer credits Hasselbeck with saving his life, this is the coaching regime that moved on from Hass, and so to an extent his friendship dictates that he is not too cozy with Carroll and Co. If one of your friends was fired you would probably be negative about their ex-employers as well in support.
As fans we live in the moment and so Pete Carroll currently IS the Seattle Seahawks, and we have poor feelings towards anybody like Dilfer who bears Carroll a grudge. This will probably soften up on both sides as time passes, Hass retires, and Dilfer gradually realizes that Carroll is better than he has previously thought.
