Do not call us the dream team.......please!

I do not want to end up like the Eagles from a couple seasons ago.

Not a bad list. I think keeping the 5 RB's is doable. Either as you have on your list just 9 OLmen (usually you keep 10).

Though I think Winston Guy makes the team over Shead or Johnson. I think he'll assume the #3 saftey spot.

Jerrod Johnson is 251 years old?!?! Dang...

About the dream team thing, i do think that we have a very talented roster, but i dont want us to get too far ahead of ourselves and call this a dream team. And, i hate to sound like a 49ers fan, but i think we should win something with our team before we call it a "dream team"

Put in Winston Guy for Snead and Zach Brown for Hauschka and you've pretty much got the team I'm hoping for. Oh and I think Malcolm Smith would play WLB.

I like how you have Stephen Williams on the team. I have high hopes for him.

Nice work.

I'd have a hard time cutting Farwell though, special teams beast.

Gotta see the preseason first. That said, some players on the bubble that I am hoping to see make it: Jerrod Johnson and/or Josh Portis, Spencer Ware, Ty Powell, Allen Bradford and/or Craig Wilkens.

Johnson is a bit like a better version of Josh Portis. I want our backup to be an exciting player, and Johnson and Portis provide a spark. Spencer Ware isn't fast, but otherwise he's ultra talented. It would sting to see talent like that walk. Powell is a great athlete, his forty time (pro-day caveat) would have been among the best at the NFL combine. Bradford is big, fast, instinctive, and hits hard. Wilkens is big, fast, and very tough to block.

I didnt know Michael Robinson was 30! Is that old for a FB? I dont really know when FBs are considered old, but i really like Robinson and hope hes here for at least 3-4 more years.

Full backs are like middle line backers they can last a really long time so 30 might not be that old.

Did someone say Dream Team? Oh, the good ol' days... the "Birdman" Larry Bird, "Magic" Johnson, Michael Jordan, Karl "The Mailman" Malone, Clyde "The Glyde" Drexler, Charles Barkley, "The Admiral" David Robinson, Patrick Ewing... oh, man, that is holy ground.

Tired of people comparing seattle to philly's "dream team".

Seattle is a team constructed through the draft and then filled in some final holes this offseason with a couple starters and some rotational/depth guys.

Philly was a team grabbing a bunch of names and slapping them together, many of which were system guys who's best games were behind them.

Nice start on one of many of these type of final 53-roster lists. Not sure about the title of the thread but I guess this is a sports forum where delusion and fanaticism is part of the story so have at it. A little originality doesn't hurt, no need to re-make old stories. Guess that is why they have reality shows now. Originality.

7 wideouts? Mmmmmm... interesting. I see what you are doing here. The fact that some very good talent will be trimmed is actually a blessing that is strange to see. A good problem to have, so to speak. Your team would get it done.

Not sure what you are doing with the Jeanpierre/Moffitt slash. Indecision perhaps? What am I missing?

On the Dream Team deal; not a fan of that moniker either. Please, let's not go there. As was said earlier, that title should stay with US Olympic basketball and go no further. When the Eagles were dubbed dream team, I puked in my mouth a little.

"Final roster prediction" would have been a more well-received title. Just sayin.

Yes... Revise the subject to something other than dream team. No "Dream Team" comparisons to this team. As for my hopefuly speculative depth chart that is really too early to speculate on.

QUARTERBACK
1. Russell Wilson
2. Jerrod Johnson - I'm really hoping Johnson outperforms Quinn and Portis because that would make me feel a lot better about the quality of depth and talent we have at QB.

RUNNING BACKS
3. Marshawn Lynch
4. Robert Turbin
5. Christine Michael - Not that I don't think Michael could carry the load this year, but I'd really like to see his activity limited until he proves he's 100% and can stay healthy.

FULL BACKS
6. Michael Robinson
7. Spencer Ware

WIDE RECEIVERS
8. Sidney Rice
9. Percy Harvin
10. Golden Tate
11. Chris Harper - I'm kind of hoping he can outperform Baldwin and make a case for starting next year.
12. Doug Baldwin - Would like to see him stay healthy

TIGHT ENDS
13. Zach Miller
14. Luke Willson
15. Sean McGrath
Would like to see Willson and McGrath make McCoy and his inconsistent hands expendable by the end of preseason.

OFFENSIVE LINE - Would like to see Sweezy make a big leap this offseason and claim the start at RG.
LT - 16. Russell Okung, 17. Paul McQuistan, 18. Mike Person - I want to see someone from Montana on the active roster.
LG - 19. James Carpenter, Paul McQuistan, 20. John Moffitt
C - 21. Max Unger, 22. Lemuel Jeanpierre
RG - 23. J.R. Sweezy, John Moffitt, 24. Rishaw Johnson
RT - 25. Breno Giacomini, 26. Alvin Bailey

DEFENSIVE END
27. Chris Clemons
28. Cliff Avril
29. Red Bryant
30. Michael Bennett
31. Bruce Irvin

DEFENSIVE TACKLES
32. Brandon Mebane
33. Jesse Williams
34. Jordan Hill
35. Jaye Howard
36. Greg Scruggs

LINEBACKERS
37. K.J. Wright
38. Bobby Wagner
39. Malcolm Smith
40. Korey Toomer - would love to see him come together at Will. Amazing physical tools.
41. Heath Farwell
42. John Lotulelei

CORNERBACKS - Would like to see Lane and Simon make Blackmon and Winfield expendable.
43. Richard Sherman
44. Brandon Browner
45. Jeremy Lane
46. Tharold Simon

SAFETIES
47. Earl Thomas
48. Kam Chancellor
49. Jeron Johnson
50. Ray Polk

LONG SNAPPER
51. Clint Gresham

PUNTER
52. Jon Ryan

KICKER
53. Carson Wiggs - Would like to see Wiggs show Hauschka's consistency with better leg.

PRACTICE SQUAD
WR, Matt Austin
WR, Jermaine Kearse
TE, Cooper Helfet
OT, Michael Bowie
DB, DeShawn Shead
DE, Kenneth Boatright
OG, Jordan Roussos
LS, Adam Steiner
LB, Ty Powell

Sorry had some typos.

First off I didn't mean a dream team in comparison to other NFL rosters, just my dream out of the 90 players the Seahawks have assembled this off-season.

Included in all my positional lists are the practice squad players marked with PS instead of a number.

To clarify, if Clemons is on the PUP list then Howard makes the team.

I meant for Malcolm Smith to be a Weakside Linebacker.

IT was hard to cut Farwell, too, but Seahawks have LBers with better talent, and those guys have the speed and athleticism to be good to great special teamers in Toomer, Morgan, Bradford, and Smith.

Seahawks keep 9 OL but I also have 2 on the PS for a total of 11. And yes, I couldn't decide between Moffitt and Jeanpierre, hence the slash.

I chose Shead over Guy because of his size and versatility. Shead can play CB but has the size to play SS which likely means he can play FS. I believe last year he was the guy the Seahawks moved around to all positions to the backfield. Guy is talented no doubt but he could be a bit like Michael Boulware. A linebacker playing safety. I value coverage.

And Kearly, I don't know much about Wilkins, but looking at Loutelei he kinded of reminded me of Lofa Tatupu. But i'm fine with either one going to the PS.

Didn't know Irvin was up to 260 and McCoy was up to 270. At 270 you'd think he'd be a better blocker.

Or were we dreaming about them gaining weight (and Thurmond staying healthy) ?
