This SHOULD be a total blowout, 41-13 type of game. The Seahawks SHOULD have no problem running the ball down the throat of GB's weak and injured defense. On a neutral field, it probably isn't even a contest, but when have the Seahawks ever given us a regular season win in a big away game that didn't leave us feeling at least a little queasy.
After travelling east for the 2nd time in 3 weeks, the Hawks will come out sluggish. Thankfully it isn't a 10AM game.
Russell Wilson's string of passing for 2 touchdowns in every regular season game vs GB will be broken.
Russell Wilson's string of scoring 2 touchdowns in every game vs GB (via passing or rushing) will be broken.
Thankfully, none of Russell Wilson's bones will be broken, but he will re-aggravate one of his injuries.
Seahawks offense will struggle to convert 3rd downs, and will have a failed 4th down attempt.
GB offense will do the opposite, and will win yardage and TOP, but will struggle to score.
Both teams will struggle in the Red Zone.
The offensive line will look more like they did in Tampa than they did against Carolina, leaving us, once again, scratching our heads about what we actually have. Thankfully, GB will spy Wilson, and play to keep him contained, which will keep him from taking a ton of hits.
Rawls will have a respectable game, and Wilson will get decent rushing yardage off of the read option, including converting a critical 3rd down.
Ultimately, it comes down to the kickers. Both have missed 3 FG this year. Crosby from 31, 48, and 36 yards. Hauschka from 29, 28, and 21 yards. Crosby has missed 2 XPs and Hauschka 4. Thankfully, the GB defense will gift us mostly longer FG attempts.
Final score GB 13, SEA 16
