I really don't have a problem with the style of play that the Hawks play with. It's going to cause some penalties. Sometimes it will cost you, today was one of those days. I don't have any data to back this up but I'm pretty sure I've seen some info that indicates that many good teams are highly penalized because they play so close to the edge.

Harbaugh did a good job lobbying to the officials before the game, that much is true. Plus, the 9ers stepped up and were generally on our level in regards to the physical play, which they haven't been able to do the last 2 games,

Look,

I'm not saying its all sunshine and roses but:

1. As much as I hate them, the 9ers are a good team,
2. The Hawks offensive didn't do enough today, especially in the 1st quarter.
3. The 9ers played their asses off.


We lost by 2, in SF.

I like our odds back at home.
