I prefer Sennheiser myself.

Not any different than Newton's use of Under Armour Visor clips or RG3 trying to cover up a nike logo.
Endorsement deals matter. It's a business.

I prefer Sennheiser myself.

I bought Sennheiser HD-595 model headphones in 2006, and used 'em for years. Then I bought the Sennheiser PC 360 in 2011, and have been using those for years. If Sennheiser bothered competing in this area with Bose, (as in, had an actual comparable product) I'd go with Sennheiser because I love the cans I've owned from them.

I have three pairs of $7 Monoprices just so I can lose them and later find them again without ever thinking about it.

I work out with them every day. Never had a problem with them falling out of my ears, and the sound quality is perfectly good.

That said, I'm not a practicing audiophile, so I don't really see the point in jumping multiple price categories either.

side note. I understand. Bose pays BIG money to be the official sponsor. if Beats wanted it, they could have. Beats were basically getting free advertising (well cheap advertising) with all the players wearing them everywhere they went. Beats are overpriced anyway.

He already basically confirmed it. He was asked if Beats was paying the fine and he said he couldn't talk about that, lol.
