It looks like this is the final decision.
AFC championship game at a neutral venue if it would have been affected by the Bills / Bengals game.
If the Ravens play the Bengals and the Ravens in the WC round and the Ravens woud have won the division the the Bengals lost on Monday the venue (but not the seeding) wil be decided by a coin toss.
7 play off teams per conferance not mentioned but implied by its absence.

The NFL also denied that football injuries were related to CTE for a long time too. Never forget that the NFL is a PR machine. Obviously the media will hype anything and everything to get attention so either one or both could be full of it. I lean towards a bit of hyperbole on both sides. The media hyping up something that was likely brought up but never seriously considered and the NFL flatly denies it toe narrative
