Title defense time:

1 Sun, Sep 8 @ Panthers W (Like last year, we're going to start off topsy-turvy, but we'll at least start with a few wins. )
2 Sun, Sep 15 49ers W (Kaepernick is going to have deer eyes again. Clemons is back)
3 Sun, Sep 22 Jaguars W (Sorry Gus.)
4 Sun, Sep 29 @ Texans W
5 Sun, Oct 6 @ Colts L (We shouldn't lose this game, but somehow we do.)
6 Sun, Oct 13 Titans W (Titans aren't good.)
7 Thu, Oct 17 @ Cardinals W (This game is going to be a lot closer than it should because of the Thursday away start)
8 Mon, Oct 28 @ Rams L (Yeah, this game is going to be frustrating.)
9 Sun, Nov 3 Buccaneers W (They better win, because I'm going to this game)
10 Sun, Nov 10 @ Falcons W (Damn 10AM start again, but Falcons choke)
11 Sun, Nov 17 Vikings W (Peterson will probably have nearly 100 yards in the first half again, however, once again, we shut them down in the second half. Harvin returns to the field against his old team.)
12 BYE
13 Mon, Dec 2 Saints L (This is a trap game for us because the 9ers game is more important on Sunday. This loss also forces us to play our starters against the Rams since IMO we're going to be competing with the Saints for HFA )
14 Sun, Dec 8 @ 49ers W ( Yes, we are sweeping the 49ers. We are Kaepernick kryptonite)
15 Sun, Dec 15 @ Giants W (Giants in another late season decline
16 Sun, Dec 22 Cardinals W (Because come on)
17 Sun, Dec 29 Rams W (Like last year, the Rams are going to want this game, but we need it to lock up a 2nd round bye.)

Regular Season Record: 13-3

Place in Division: 1st
Post-season Result: Super Bowl Win

This is also a prediction that Seattle will be the first team to break the 4-0 preseason curse by winning the division. I just want to point that out.

Some of those calls for the early season are amazing. Especially the Colts one and the call for Harvin's return.

The end of the year? Not as much.

I thought I did well. Missed 2 games in the reg season, but called our record, called our opponent in all but one of our Playoff victories. Almost called our score in the Superb Owl. Did not see the Denver colapse. My scoring, well not so close. Got the Lombardi thats all that matters to me. :179417: :thirishdrinkers: :0190l:

Regular Season Record: 12-4. I see no shame in winning out at home and splitting on the road. The Saints and Giants games are toss-ups to me. But, I fully expect to win every game in Seattle regardless of opponent, and I think we are more talented and deeper than NYG which will win us the game at that point in the season.

Place in Division: 1st/2nd. If we get the Wild Card, we win on the road and play at home, and win there.

Post-season Result: Super Bowl champs, of course

I went 11-5 on picks, not great. Pretty easy with a home field advantage like ours to do well in that regard. At least I got the playoff prediction right! Not sure how I expected to be a wild card team and then play at home for two games, though....

Someone asked about this the other day and I went back and looked at mine. I only got 3 of my regular season predictions wrong and had us at 12-4 instead of 13-3. Had us winning through the play offs but losing in the Super Bowl. Just for jinx reasons I can now never again pick us to win the super bowl and I'm ok with that

13-3. I can foresee three stupid away losses against easily winnable teams. But I also have a 23-0 in my crystal ball, though the vision is more hazy.

I did quite well. Record right, one of the losses right and one loss for the right team but wrong (cardinals road) game.

Disclaimer: This is the serious optimist in me. I think the 'hawks are good, but anything could happen. I'd be pleasantly surprised if we actually did that well this year. I hate all the hype.

Off by one.

Crap, I thought I posted in this thread back in September? Well for what it's worth I went with 13-3 and the Seahawks beating the Broncos in SBXLVIII. Geez, now I have to try to dig up posts from August/September where I predicted that. :)

13-3 Division Champs

Had the 13-3 part right, along with the division champs, only loss I nailed was the 2nd matchup vs SF

I actually kept my picks sealed in an envelope at home. I predicted the season perfectly, though a few of the scores were off by a point or two. I also predicted that Harvin wouldn't get hurt until the 4th quarter of the Divisional Round, so I was off there too.

Pretty disappointing really. I'm sure I'll do better next year.

You know it's funny, I couldv'e sworn I posted in this thread too. The only thing I can think of, is that there were more than 1 preciction thread, and this was the "official" one. Also, I remember it being longer than 4 pages. Ah well.

I remember going 12-4. Anything more than that felt homeristic.

I had us losing to the Texans, beating the Colts, losing to the Rams @ STL, losing to the Niners @ SF, I can't remember much other than that. I know I had us going to the NFCCG and losing.

Glad I'm wrong ! Funny, I thought a ton of these had a homer slant to them at the start of the season, and it's really cool to see how close a lot of us were.

I also find it humurous that a lot of other fans came here (mainly 49ers fans) and thought we were out of our minds and arrogant about these predictions.

I think it's awesome how many people got the record correct. I felt 12-13 wins sounded about right. Some predicted 15 and 16 wins which I thought was pure homerism and 11 wins didn't show enough confidence in the team.

I don't think anyone had us losing to the Cardinals at home.

I got the record correct, though not the matchups. I got the postseason correct, minus the word "comeback."

And double-checking the math, I originally predicted our offensive average PPG at 26 (actual = 26.1). But then I went back and added 3 TDs and a FG somewhere in there and the subsequent ppg = 27.5, but I forgot to change the 26. So I was prophetic in my oversight. Or something like that. :)
