Broncos signing QB Jarrett Stidham to two-year, $10 million contract

The Denver Broncos are signing quarterback Jarrett Stidham to a two-year, $10 million contract, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday.

The Donks picked up Jarrett Stidham as the presumed backup to RW3. Interesting signing in that the dude played pretty well in limited duty last year. He's also familiar with the new Denver staff.

If not for the rumors that Payton isn't necessarily thrilled with Wilson, I'd say this is just a meh, backup signing. But the tenor already set by Peyton vv Russ, this may be the guy SP believes can man the ship and run his offense if Russ can't.

Interesting signing and one to watch.

I would say it's an Anti Diva pick up, if Wilson pulls his crap Payton will just insert this guy to show him I am the Coach, Boss, in charge not you, Ciara or Jake Heaps.

Wilson had 4 HCs so far, he stabbed O'Brien and Carroll, caused the firing of Hackett, had an OK one year relationship with HC of Wisconsin. If I was Sean Payton, I wouldn't enjoy watching my back all the time waiting for my QB to pull that dagger, or fight with my QB on social media which Payton would be at disadvantage for not having a wife that can do stripper moves.
