Hope Curhan doesn't get poached. Think it'll be difficult for him to make the 53, but he showed real promise. If I were a team like the Bengals or Dolphins, I'd be snapping him up.

I think that's probably a pretty good guess. If Parkinson is healthy enough to be back in a few weeks, I think they'll hold onto him and cut Mabry to try adding him to the PS.

I'm also curious to see if any trade might happen with the RB corps with a couple of the teams that need backs.

- 17 game schedule and injury concerns leads to 5 RBs making the cut
- I have Curhan making the team over Ogbuehi because of 4 year club control.
- Parkinson will make the 53 man roster, but then be IR, so Mabry sticks around for 3 weeks. I'd predict a waiver claim in Week 1 for a linebacker with ST ability.
- Nkemdiche brings his 1st round talent to a position lacking play makers

Seems reasonable as well. Witherspoon seems likely but I thought he played too much in the third preseason game for a guy who had a spot already and then he wasn't particularly good.

Pete seemed to think that Ogbuehi was in even competition with Shell for RT before he was derailed by injury so I think they have him ahead of the other backup tackles in terms of game readiness.

What do you make of Reid not playing much in the game?

I'm rooting for Nkemdiche but I'm thinking he didn't get enough of a shot due to injuries.

It was strange that Reid didn't play much, especially after trading for him. Maybe they are trying to hide him during cuts and save the draft pick or they didn't want to put him in over his head with minimal practice with the team. I'm just guessing that they see something in his game that they think they can develop. He's a toolsy CB but he hasn't really put anything on tape.

This might be one of the lest shocking 53 man rosters in a few seasons. The only real shock would be the team keeping 3 QBs and cutting one of the running backs. Like every year players will be cut or kept this time around based on the teams hopes they can get a guy through waivers to the practice squad.
