Gregg Bell had a nice detailed review of day 5 ..............

Undrafted rookie defensive tackle Bryan Mone continues to impress. The former Michigan Wolverine mauled undrafted rookie Demetrius Knox, pushing him back so hard it looked like he was angry at him.
......... During team scrimmaging, Mone rushed Wilson then peeled back up the field and chased wide receiver Keenan Reynolds 10 yards up the field into the defensive secondary after a bubble-screen pass. Carroll loved that. The coach ran from behind the offensive huddle to Mone deep into the defense to congratulate the rookie for his effort.

While Lockett, Metcalf and others made a number of impressive plays on Tuesday, defensive backs are starting to show what they can do now that the pads are on and they’re allowed to contest every play. Tuesday’s practice, the first in full pads, saw the defense making more plays on the ball and breaking up more pass attempts, both in one-on-one drills as well as the seven-on-seven and 11-on-11 portions of practice.

Russell Wilson is having his best offseason. His throws and movement have been spectacular. Receivers look fast and have been great catching the ball and the running backs and tight ends have looked good as well. The offense scored 26.8 points a game last year and averaged 30 points a game over the final eight games of the season. This offense has a chance to be one of the best in franchise history.

And in the depth department ..........................

“You’ve got to give Brandon Jackson, Rasheem Green, and Quinton Jefferson the chance to take this opportunity and run with it,” Huard said

On the positive side, second-year defensive end Rasheem Green is starting to show some good things. He came to camp thinner and in great shape. He could be an end who could save things for the pass rush.

Green had the body of a 5 tech and the skills of a LEO last year. Sounds like hes looking more like a LEO now, which is a great thing.
