I think the players get a say on whether he gets a ring if the team were to wing another one. Frankly don't care if he gets a ring or not, but am glad he's gone, really think he gets far too much attention for a guy that quits on his team. Talented player but a serious headache and headcase.

I hope the team realizes their mistake and brings him back. Never should have been traded.

Really???

You're kidding right? Suspect Pn'J want nothing to do with Percy anymore and have seen all they needed to see to know he isn't a fit in the Hawks organization.

The summary 'trade away at almost any price' disposition of Harvin is a pretty clear indicator that despite his undoubted talent his attitude and commitment to the team were found to be wanting.

Too bad, cause the dude has unbelievable talent. If he was a team player he had the potential to be one of the all time greats. Now he's just a sad malcontent that's going to move from team to team until his speed deteriorates.

nailed it.

maybe after percys career is over he will look back and realize how it was his selfishness that burned bridges and wonder what coulda been... or maybe he wont

Harvin shows all the signs of having a mental health issue called Borderline Personality Disorder, and in particular, the kind with a side helping of Antisocial Personality Disorder.

Someone like that doesn't give a rip about their own "attitude", but they will rip on others all day about THEIR attitude in order to manipulate them. And they don't feel guilt. After all, why should they, when it's everyone else who's at fault?

Pete and John figured it out this season, and once they realized what Harvin was, they couldn't unload him fast enough.

Harvin doesn't care. Everyone else was just an oyster to surround his pearl. Moralizing about him is a waste of psychological energy. It's not like he'll "see the light" because in his mind, he's the victim, and the Seahawks organization's bad behavior made him be how he was. So he was on good behavior in NY, to help people there see how he's the one with the halo and the whole Seahawks team is evil.
