Raiders release rookie OLB/DE David Bass

I remember him being quite active in that last preseason game against the 'Hawks...he showed pretty well to me in that game and most in Raider nation thought he was a lock to make the roster...I figured a bad team like that may hold on to him...looking for him to pop up somewhere

Never cared for David Bass much. He was all strength and size with no speed or athleticism. Ty Powell is far superior and he's probably not making our 53-man either (though with all the surprises lately, I guess we'll see).

I thought Bass played well against us as well. He was disruptive at least, which wasn't something a lot of the other guys were doing.
