So reality time
The fact is, it appears anything less than Perfect from Wilson and this team cant win. The problem is it is near impossible for any QB to be perfect every game for 16 games. Now of course this lets in the fake fans who get such enjoyment over Wilson beingless than perfect and be out of the MVP race. Yes they exist look at the game forum and even some threads in hear.
Lets look at some facts though
Wilson 28/41 68% complt, 390 yards 9.5 ypa, 2 tds, 2 ints qb rating 94.6 Now none of that is bad except INts, and he did have 2 fumbles, He was also hit, hurried, sacked or pressured on 68% of his drop backs. That said he was not prefect, and made some plays that I did not get. However, the reality is we scored 34 points and that should be enough to win, Also every time we did score our defense let them march down and score too.
Again not saying Wilson played great, or good, but he also did not play awful and if we had even an avg defense we would have won.
That said here is the thing, we were down 14-0 with 7.35 seconds in the 1st qtr. Buffalo only punted once. Buffalo scored 44 points. They got 16 off of TOs, That means Buffalo scored 28 points without TOs. That means our defense played like crap. For that Matter our ST were not good either.
This is not a 1 game thing, our defense is avg over 28 pointed per game given up. That means our offense has to be perfect or press to get the 29+ points needed to win.
The reality is our offense has to be so perfect and press so many games like this will happen, because our Defense is so bad.
