Yeah getting into a war of words with a Stanford grad is like the proverbial bringing a knife to a gun fight. Beavis ought to quit now while he's behind before he gets completely :192214: .SeahawksFanForever":29ns118y said:grizbob":29ns118y said:Derriere obviously skipped too many english classes

Not sure about going the "girl" route since yapping athletes have been on the radar since Ali. Something got under Revis' skin with the comments Sherman has been putting out for him to take it to the "girl" level.
Revis needs to just figure out how he is going to get that next contract he is looking for and let Sherman be the one nipping at his heels. Lot more daytime drama to sports or social media makes it seem that way.

Not saying Sherman is bad mouthing Revis. But these guys excel because of their egos and to Revis, he has had a nationwide audience bowing in his greatness. Now you have some recent unknown guy eventually being brought on the national stage raising a comparison debate. Seems it is a turf battle now. Revis had to protect his street cred. Just as Sherman has now responded and must protect his.
No one can turn a blinds eye to the other's comments at this point. Just like Roddy White. Only AJ Green walked away, even agreeing with Sherman's criticism. That usually isn't going to happen and the war of words ensues. NFL ATL and others are loving this. Helps fill the airwaves and twitterverse with something to discuss.
