It was reported today that Rome Odunze suffered a broken rib and punctured lung on September 30th against Arizona in Tucson. He played the whole game and was taken to the hospital afterward. He was at the hospital all night and wasn't released until the next morning at 6am. He was not allowed to fly due to his punctured lung, so he stopped at a McDonalds for breakfast and then his mom drove him 1,600 miles to Seattle. He played in UW's next game two weeks later against Oregon, catching 8 passes for 128 yards, including the game winner.

This will only add to his lore and appeal in the upcoming draft. What a tough dude.

Wow! He's amazing. While a WR is not a major need, I wouldn't be disappointed if the Seahawks drafted him with their first pick. He's a gamechanger - Like Justin Jefferson, AJ Brown, Deebo Samuel, etc.

Yeah, but we have a game changer... couple of them and we don't use them to the best of their ability.. what would change?

Hopefully for the Seahawks, the OC that is calling the plays and the QB that is throwing to them.

Even the Texas fans, despite talking shit about the Huskies in every other aspect, are basically saying "Odunze is a stud, end of story".

That says a lot. Odunze is a stud.

Anytime someone from Texas says a single good word about an opponent, that's saying something. It's shocking how overconfident they are about the Sugar Bowl. It's ok, UW is used to shutting up the overconfident.
