Eh, I knew Khiry Robinson would be tough for Seattle to handle. Said so here days before the NO game.

Gore doesn't concern me. He's likely down to his 3rd string FB. Seattle has struggled more with young, unfamiliar backs with limited tape. Remember, we shut down Zac Stacy the second time we saw him.

The thing with Gore is he kills us late in the game.

Was it his 9 carries for 16 yards the last time he played here that gave you that impression, or was it the 6 carries for 28 yards the game before at the end of the 2012 season?

No it was the last two losses in SF that gave me the impression.

Gore hasn't killed us the last 2 times in Seattle because we went up in points and SF moved to just passing the ball.

If it's a close game, that won't be the case and Gore can wear our D down.

Specifically in the last game in Seattle, Harbaugh and the media said that they did not run Gore enough when it was only 5-0 at halftime. SF abandoned the run, and that's when Seattle ran away with the game.

We won't see that this weekend. You guys saying he won't do anything just because "he sucks in Seattle" are not really looking at what happened in the games. He got no carries because we went up big and because the SF coaches made stupid calls on Offense to abandon the run.

We're going to see a lot of Gore this weekend and he can be a problem.

Not true, at least not in the week 2 game. The score was 5-0 Seattle at halftime. Granted you didn't see how San Fran was going to score at all given how Seattle's defense was playing, but it wasn't enough for San Fran to try stopping the run. Indeed San Fran tried running it well into the third qtr and IIRC it was a one score game all the way to the start of the third qtr.

No, the fact is since Carroll became the coach Seattle has defended Gore very well. Heck we even defended Gore well down in SF this year save for one unfortunately defensive mistake.

A lot of the bad run defense simply came from a lot of missed tackles. It looked a lot like the game against Tampa Bay.. guys were in position to make the play, but just didn't wrap them up.

So not overly concerned about it.. that is easy to correct. And given Gore's history against Seattle.. you know they will wrap him up.

We'll stop Gore. Just hope we contain Kap.

Yea I have a feeling they're going to try to run the ball more with Kap, especially on third down. Hope we keep a spy on him.

If the Seahawks offense and run defense doesn't improve by 12 orders of magnitude by the next game, the 49ers will win by 3x10^44 points.

Gore had 9 carries the whole game. In a game that was 5-0 at halftime. 9 CARRIES.

They completely abandoned the run early in that game. The game might have been much closer if they had not done that.

Harbaugh and the media were talking about how foolish it was to not give to Gore more in that game. They put it all on Kaep's shoulders and he failed miserably. They will not make that mistake again.

Stop Gore and force Kap to throw more. If we stifle the run, I like our odds because Kap has nightmares over our secondary. He's been exposed every time against our D and I expect the same at the weekend.

Gore isn't gonna' do crap on Sunday. Much more concerned with Crabtree/Davis/Boldin. That's 3 pretty damn good players to deal with.

SF plays a lot of 1 WR sets with double TE's.
It's like a slightly wider version of goal line offense. It's great on grass versus poor defenses.
Not so much on turf because it's harder to get going downhill on D-Linemen.

Gore will get bottled up.
It's all about frustrating Kaep.
