Wow, lots of panties in a wad over a rumour, especially one that patently is flawed and or doesn't make much sense.

I only read the last page, but I was on Twitter and agree. This makes absolutely no sense any way you look at it, for any of the parties involved.

Bennett just signed a long-term deal last year, there's no way on God's green earth that he can expect to re-do his deal. Seattle is the best team in the entire league, with quite possibly the best facilities, working environment, great coaches, etc.

I also saw some conjecture about how he may have only signed his deal because of Dan Quinn. That would be even more insane. Quinn was probably the top head coaching candidate the last 2 years, and the only reason he wasn't a head coach last season, was because Seattle made the Super Bowl.

Usually by now, someone with actual credibility would confirm the rumors(and no I don't believe Clayton is a credible source anymore, he's constantly talking out his ass on air), because you know Schefter, Glazer, JLC are on their iPhones trying to get any info they can from Seattle about this. Since that hasn't happened by now, I don't think anything will come of it. I'd put money on it too.

My sources tell me that all of you need to relax.

Could be just a rumor, though.

Hmmm, this sounds believable. I'm with this guy.

That teriyaki I had for lunch is apparently also seeking a trade :oops:

I would just release it outright. You're not going to get anything of value.

Yeah, I would recommend dumping that and moving on.

Anyone else tired of ADB's tweets/comments about everything this offseason?

I wouldn't be surprised to see him shipped. His negative comments about Jimmy Graham, like it's not going to help the team - etc.

His schtick is tiresome.

One year into a new deal? Good luck with that.

If he wants out, so be it but it will be on Seattle's terms.

Agreed. If he wants to be able to negotiate yearly, sign one year deals.

.

Yeah.... are you crazy?

"I think both sides were in shock," Baldwin said about the trade. "I actually had a long conversation with Jimmy Graham last night … He is excited to come to the Seahawks but obviously he is leaving a fan base and a situation he has created in New Orleans. I think a lot of people forget that these tradable commodities that we tend to look at as players are also human beings with families, situations and lives they have built in those cities."

@DougBaldwinJr
This one is a hard pill to swallow. A great player, a great teammate and a great man. Thank you @MaxUnger60 for everything!

@DougBaldwinJr
With that being said. 12s welcome @TheJimmyGraham to the PNW!

I wouldn't mind them dropping the guy.

Since they aren't I just wish he would shut up.

I wonder if he realizes that he is the "hard pill to swallow".

First of all, I don't believe he said anything remotely similar to graham won't help the team. Secondly, seems like a simple solution, if you don't like his tweets, stop following him on twitter.
