Not only is the QB miked but the media and broadcast have mics all over the stinking field. The NFL is trying to tread lightly but their investigators did collect all of the recordings of the event. Analysis of that material proved that Garrett is lying. Unfortunately the NFL also understands that it is such a sensitive subject that they cannot declare this without generating blowback so instead of out right declaring Garrett the liar that he is the league simply offers the statement that they could not find evidence to support his claim. Meanwhile the young QBs character has been assailed by Garett’s selfish attempt to dodge responsibility for his own actions. The NFL can levy its own punishments and fines as they see fit. Hopefully Garrett will now face both civil and criminal charges for his crimes though. His false accusations are far more damaging than the glancing blow he delivered.

The NFL isn't going to release what they have. Not unless Rudolph or Garrett or their orgs bypass arbitration somehow and then sue for it to be on public record.

They won't. It's not in their interest.

Garrett got after all half the suspension that was handed down to Burfict over his helmet to helmet on Indy's Jack Doyle. He'll be back for 2020 assuming he shows contrition, which basically means not challenging it and acting sorry.

Rudolph meanwhile is focused on his own football performance, which resulted this week in him getting pulled from the winless Bengals game. It's wise for Steelers to have Duck in there for the matchup including and beyond football reasons. He's going to be going into camp competing if he's not outright cut in March for football reasons. He can't do a Kaep and weaponize this.

Everyone's interests are served really by keeping it to football and no-commenting beyond that.
