Like i said consistently ran for 3.4 per carry. Defense gave up 14 points, they were fine tonight.

They didn't "consistently" run for 3.4 yards a carry, though. That's a really, really twisted way to look at this.

Just as its pretty flawed to throw out the fact that they gave up a massive run on a must-stop third down which only stopped at the 1 yard line to ice the game. We throwin' those ones away too because... big runs don't count? Even when they ice the game in a decisive fashion?

It wasn't a good defensive performance, even if it was better than the string of absolute castrations they were coming off of. You keep giving up 170 on the ground and you're gonna keep racking L's.

If you blame the run defense for the 55 yard game play on the 49ers final drive you should probably also blame the offense for having just 210 net yards and 6 points prior to their final drive.
