While still far too soon to label the Seahawks the team a dynasty, the defense as its own unit nearly deserves that label now.

When the Seahawks defense is on, they're a historically great defense. We saw them all last season. As good as Ravens 2000 and Tampa 2002. Wasn't alive for the Bears.

They were at that level for the Green Bay game and the first 3 quarters of the Bronco game. Then regressed to being a top 10 defense.

We've now seen that just incredible level of defensive play they can reach 3 weeks in a row now. Granted, its been against Mark Sanchez, Drew Stanton, and a crumbling Kaepernick. It just is so impressive to see though when they hit their stride.

99.9% positive that Philly sideline reporter will not make a return appearance on Seattle radio.

How true, this win is precious, been arguing with Philly fans, about Sherman taunting the fans. Philadelphia =classless fans they deserve it ,and the $hit smear reporter who called Lynch a weirdo.

Pete Carroll teams tend to rise to the occasion and finish strong. The defense is now allowing just 274 yards per game, which is less than a yard per game away from last season's average of 273. They need to allow under 263 yards to the 49ers to best last year's season average.

We did the exact same thing to the Denver Mannings. Did anyone ever really think the Philadelphia Sanchezes had a chance against the LoB?

It is hard to remember the Eagles even having the ball. It felt like every series was a 3 and out that lasted less than a minute.
Yep, that's the results you get with the Eagles hurry, hurry, hurry up Offense, against the World Champion Heads up quick draw Defense.
This Defense makes you earn every inch you get.

It will be a miracle if the 49ers score at all next week

We are currently 2nd in scoring defense (18 points per game) behind Detroit (17 points). We were much better last year - 14.4 points per game. Even if we shut out our last three opponents, we would still average 14.7 points per game.

Last year's defense was historically great. You have to take into account that Seattle's defense hasn't been healthy up until the last couple of games.

Definitely, and they still have a good chance to be the No. 1 scoring defense this year if things keep up the way they have been going.

My favorite play of the day was a run by Lynch towards the end of the game (after his fumble) where he just destroyed the Eagles defense for about an 8 yard run. At the time Lynch went down you could see about 3 of the Eagles Defensive players rolling around on the ground in the area he had just cleared. For anyone who wonders if the Beast cares (if there are any) he made it very evident after the fumble in his play and his actions. I truly thought we had to let him go after this year at the beginning of the season because of the money but I can't imagine the team not offering up a little extra so he comes back for the last year of his contract. I am so glad admitting that I'm an idiot.

The Seahawks had the ball so much in the game that Russell Wilson threw 37 passes despite a 55/45 run/pass ratio. That's what happens when a team that runs a play every 20 seconds gets only 9 first downs.

Good grief. You don't think about it being that dominant until you look at those stats. We only won by 10 points, so it just goes to show you how sloppy our offense still is. Wilson isn't blowing smoke when he keeps saying they have work to do.
