The ticker on NFL network said two Chiefs defensive players with a ruptured achilles. I have seen those as sometimes career ending injuries.

Rams third stringer is Austin Davis. I saw him play a bunch of games at Southern Miss. He was a baseball player who walked on the football team and started as a freshman. He also broke some of Favre's records at USM. I for one will not be shocked if he plays well.

Davis struggled yesterday, but I'm not sure why Fisher threw him out there after the half. Shaun Hill didn't look good, either, but that offense is a hot mess overall. Greg Robinson can't even crack the starting lineup and, though it is early, is on his way to being Jason Smith, Part II. Plus, it looks like the Raiders lucked out in not having to pay Rodger Saffold much because watching this game, Saffold looks terrible.
