Trading up would be a mistake

We need to let the draft come to us. I like Anderson, but only at 5. There are other picks to concider, and that includes offensive players.

Just sit thight, if we trade, back is the answer.

Maybe at 5, but some real possibilities of trading down at 20. Or trading back up in to the 1st round.

If we trade up in the top 5, it better be for below market value, and it better involve one of the top two QBs. I'm done listing scenarios that warrant consideration in the top 5.

But depending on how the board falls, trading up from 20 may make a ton of sense. If we go Carter at 5, and someone like Gonzalez is there at 16 - I would happily give up a 4th to move up 4 spots to take someone who should have been considered at 5.

I know that it's not in our character, and doesn't jive with reports coming out in the media - but I think there's a very good chance that we trade up from 20 into the mid-teens to take someone we were considering at 5.

Don't sleep on a move up this year...
