Understanding Offensive Linemen (podcast collection)

Contemporary restrictions on organized practice time including contact time have affected player development at all levels. The development of offensive linemen has, in particular, become much more challenging. This thread is a resource for those who want to understand and stay up to speed with changes affecting today's offensive linemen. Credit goes to "ivotuk" for dutifully finding and posting so many podcasts for our benefit. What follows is a select collection from those many posts that focus on offensive linemen.

SCHOOLED WITH THE PROFESSOR -- Back from the Combine with Mark Schlereth

Just getting back from the Indianapolis Scouting Combine. On this episode of Schooled with the Professor, we have Mark Schlereth (former offensive guard) to discuss the evolution of the combine and the start of free agency.
One of the main topics we get into was offensive linemen, both from the college standpoint and free agency, and how difficult it is for offensive line coaches to get the most out of their blockers.
Since 2011, it takes three years to equal the practice, meeting, and hitting time coaches enjoyed for so many years.
Because of that, there may not be 32 offensive line coaches who can conquer the challenge of getting players ready for games.
We also breakdown how free agency has evolved, and Mark gets into what’s going on with the Denver Broncos and what’s ahead for them.
