Denver's win over Carolina gave them a small cushion over the Seahawks for the #1 spot. Seahawks are projected to win between 10 and 11 games with a 70% chance to make the playoffs.

The problem with the Elo ratings is they don't (and can't) factor in Denver's new QB. He may be serviceable, but I don't see any way he leads them to the league's best record, as this predicts.

It's all about that defense anyway. They won a Super Bowl last year with Brock Osweiler and the ghost of Payton Manning.
