In 2013, the team showed they were willing to draft a couple years ahead of "true need." In fact, I believe they try not to enter the draft with any "immediate" needs. They went RB -> DT -> WR -> TE. None of those positions were of dire need in 2013, but they were spots that would potentially thin out in 2014/2015. This is currently the case with our LB group -- perhaps not an immediate need now, but potential for significant attrition soon. Plus, I think this is the one position group that I think Seattle should consistently stay young and cheap at. I think they'll take a LB and wouldn't be that surprised if they took one anywhere from 2nd-7th.
