a nasty retort from the U.S. Open tennis social media account.
Even tennis snobs know Lock isn’t a good QB.

Oh and Tennis is a sport. There is running, hand eye coordination ect. Not sure how someone can say it’s not a sport.

After reading the article below, two things popped into mind:

So far, Drew Lock sits behind Geno on QB chart, confirmed by Pete. Although Geno has a year of experience on Waldron system but Lock hasn't rocked.

One guy who totally bought into how import an elite QB can do for a team would be Pete Carroll, he gutted his team, his own philosophy to appease his QB, even vetoed trade last off season. It took Russ's refusal to sign any extension to force his way out.

Pete's consistently been able to get more out of his QBs than anyone else. Look back at all the USC QBs that were Heisman hopefuls and we're awful in the NFL (Sanchez, Leinart). He kept Hass when everyone thought he was done. Took a 3rd rounder to the HOF. Made Geno (cut from 3 teams) into a serviceable backup, and maybe more. No one knows if Lock will succeed, but Pete will give him his best shot.

I also thought the play action numbers for both Lock and GSmith predict a big shift in Seahawks O this year.

It's good to dream.

Probably the same kind of person who calls nascar a sport.

Drew Lock responds back with a sense of humor and taking the higher road to wish the US Open and the "intern" posting the tweet, a happy fourth of July.

I have to give him a lot of credit for this, great comeback.
