Does anyone know what the plans are? Weather should be good but it seems that the roof is always closed when we play there. Maybe Ringless can tell us???

University of Phoenix Stadium does not have a retractable roof. The playing surface is natural grass, and is grown in an ingenious way. The entire surface rolls out of the building and into the sunshine.

At this point, the NFL says it plans to keep the retractable roof open at University of Phoenix Stadium for the Feb. 1 game between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots, but the plan can change as the league gets a better read on the weather forecast for game night. If there is a sign of inclement weather, the roof will be shut.

The answer hasn't been decided yet. It looks like they want to keep it open, but will make the final call when they have a good idea about the weather.
