They gave us Marshawn Lynch for virtually nothing

They passed on Russell Wilson

And hopefully next week .. they are able to beat the Packers (I see no way they lose to Atlanta tomorrow) in Buffalo.

If the Packers slip up .. the Seahawks are in control of everything. All they'd have to do is win out and HFA is theirs. No other scenario matters at that point. They'd win the tie-break with GB. They'd win the tie-break in a 3-way tie with GB, PHI/DAL .. They'd win the tie-break with DET .. They'd win the tie-break with DET, PHI/DAL.

It's a pretty simple formula ..

3 wins + GB loss = HFA

Go Bills Go!

How could anyone ever root against Kyle Orton, after all? He's like some random dude on your bowling team who, by the way, managed to put together a 10+-year NFL career.

It might actually be the Lions who help out the Hawks.

I have a lot more faith in the Bills at Ralph Wilson.. with that defense.. than I do the Lions with Matthew Stafford in a meaningful game.

+1. Lions winning at Lambeau feels far-fetched even though they dominated the Pack earlier in the season in Detroit.

Right now the Lions would be about a 10-point dog in that game.

Quick question because I am lazy and have already taken an Ambien for the night which makes me trip at times.

How do we have the tiebreaker with Dallas when they beat us head to head? I thought that was the first tie breaker.

And he was drummer for Nirvana, then front man for Foo Fighters!

And I swear to God I've seen him on some classic porn sites. The real grainy ones where the chicks wear too much deep red lipstick and have curled hair.

We don't have the tiebreaker over them if we end up in a two-way tie with them.

Three-way ties are different and head-to-head only applies if one team has swept both of the other two or been swept by both of the other two.

I don't believe the Packers are some invincible team the way a lot seem to think. They play a cream puff schedule all year, beat up on a few bad opponents, lost to us, and they're the best team?

Yeah yeah yeah they beat the Patriots in a game where the Patriots didn't really want to throw out the kitchen sink on. Belichick tossed that game I think.

Packers are a very good team, but by no means great team. We can beat them anywhere I feel. This team would love to have homefield advantage, but Lambeau field doesn't scare me. We have an elite defense, we can beat them.

H2H loss wouldn't matter in a 3-way tie.. which is probably the most realistic way Dallas hits 12-4 .. unless you think Green Bay loses 2 of their last 4.. which I find a bit hard to believe

This. It's simple we need to win out and Green Bay lose one. As it is, just to win the division and make the playoffs takes an 11-5 record probably, thanks to Kansas City doing their usual "but we ALMOST won" schtick.

I was just in Buffalo on business ( still have a lot of snow ) I will e-mail my Working colleague and give them my wishes

GO BILLS GO

That would be Unbelievable if the Hawks get Home Field Advantage, compared to how they are turning there season around.

If Dallas wins out, they could be a problem.

But that's not going to happen.

Philadelphia losing today virtually made that a lock. Let alone the fact that Indianapolis has a good shot at getting the 3 seed because of Cincinnati going AWOL if they come to play Dallas.

Only if GB/DET do not finish 12-4. In a 3-way tie.. we win every scenario
