Head coaches Gus Bradley and Dan Quinn. Ken Norton Jr becoming the DC with the Raiders. PC is starting to develop quite a coaching tree. However, the downside to this a lot of players are getting poached to the respective teams of these former Seahawk coaches. The price of success. On the positive side, PC has been able to overcome the losses.

I'm very happy for all these coordinators, but IMO Carroll is like Belicheat, THEY are the reason for the success.

Many a program and NFL team has tried to imitate Carroll's "system," but no one's been successful thus far.

Our players were gonna get poached regardless. It's a side effect of winning so much. and being in a league with a cap. Can't keep everyone.

The part that is encouraging to me is that these players we are losing are genuinely good.

If other coaches were poaching these players because they were good on the Seahawks, then some of them might have been fooled by acquiring "system-only" players they thought were better than they are. But the fact that former Seahawks coaches are going after these guys shows that the players are genuinely good and can work in what they want to do next.

Former coaches don't always pick players they have a past with just for the sake of familiarity. The players have to be a fit for the program they want to implement and they have to be good.

That speaks volumes about the ability to identify and implement real talent by Pete Carroll and John Schneider. They aren't just finding guys that can play in their system, they are finding guys that really are talented and able to fit on other teams too.
