The '93 Cowboys and '01 Pats started 0-2 and won Super Bowl... but neither started 2-4.

The Panthers are now 14-0. No NFL team has ever started 14-0 and not made the Uper bowl. That is the history we are chasing this season.... unfortunately.

So if the Seahawks win a playoff game (it's looking like a trip to Fedex) they will be just the 8th team in the past 26 seasons to start 2-4 and reach the divisional round.

If they win their first two playoff games, they'll be just the 3rd team in the past 26 seasons to start 2-4 and reach the conference championship.

If they win that conference championship game, they will be the first team since 1990 to start 2-4 and reach a SB.

History is there to be re-written.

The Buffalo Bills and New York Giants were both 13-3 in 1990, so that's not possible.

And I think we are talking about only one NFC team that has ever started 14-0 and that is the Panthers. So really very little history there. I respect what Carolina has done this year but they still have a long ways to go to get to the Super Bowl.
