It's not the jersey, it's the helmet that technically prevents it.

I also remember seeing those White-with-Blue Star Cowboys helmets in the past few years. Not sure about the Colts with those ugly double-horseshoe ones but when Manning was with the Colts late in his career the team was wearing them in a throw-back game. I think the no-second helmet rule is bunk but hey, it's the NFL so you do as they tell you.

Not since they adopted the new rule. Now they wear their normal yellow helmet with the "G" decal removed.

The helmet thing is a very new rule approx 2013 season when the Bucs wanted to go creamcicle.
