Doesn't matter how ugly it was, when it comes down to playoff time, that win will mean so much!!! When we won the SuperBowl I can remember a lot of lucky breaks that season, and yesterday, at times, it looked like a sure loss. We got some breaks throughout the game, like the Stills drop, and we made our own luck at times, but in Pete's era we all know if the boys keep it close and Russ gets on the field we will always have a chance! Get ready for more of these nail biters because it looks like that D is back!!!
Here's what I am looking forward to see how things play out this season-
1. Is Earl protecting that shoulder or was he just too amped? (I believe all great players have a bad game now and then but this was epically bad for Earl standards)
2. Sherman was very impressive, excellent tackling time and again!
3. Russ' injury going forward, will it linger?
4. How long until John Ryan is injured?
Lots of positives to go along with a few negatives, it's going to be a fun season!

The harder they work, the luckier they get.

Are people saying we were lucky?

The Stills drop happened in the first half. Plenty of time to overcome that.

Very true, but that was a huge huge play that ended up having an effect on the final score. Had the tables been turned and someone, say Lockett dropped a wide open touchdown like that, you know plenty of hawks fans would point to that play as the reason for losing

I thought the luck was fairly even. Seattle had drops too, and the refs had some pretty questionable calls that really hurt the Seahawks.

That personal foul called on Kam was a joke (called late hit on the sideline).

On de beach, mon...
I like ugly wins.

1. They're still wins.
2. It's experience winning ugly when you need one.

But like ugly chicks... it does help if you have a six-pack in ya!

All teams get lucky breaks. Good teams exploit them better. ;)
