Probably saved Sherm's life. Took a knee with a 300lb lineman bearing down on him.

MB could say the same thing about the Jets lineman from earlier in the game. Who basically hit mb helmet to helmet.

Mike B blocked mangold in the back. Hardly a dirty hit.

Yeah, the shot by the other Jet linemen was waaaaaaaaay dirtier. I actually didn't think Bennett's play was bad, and close to a clean block - but you better believe he was looking for a bearded, white Jet linemen (the dude who hit him) and Manigold just happen to come into the cross hairs.

Lol, really? After watching Bennett get cheap shot earlier, plus their players constantly grabbing our players ankles after the whistle was blown, Todd Bowles lost a lot of respect. What a punk team the Jets are

Yeah, but dirty or not, it looked like a big push..You know it is football and there is a chance that someone might push you. Poor guy, I hope he's alright.

Mangold was breaking down to take on Sherman right before he took a knee. The ball is still live and there wasn't a whistle until he'd already been de-cleated. Sherman had already run quite a ways after the INT, I don't think Bennett knew he was just going to suddenly give himself up and kill the play.

Are you really surprised? This is the guy who coached up dirty defenses for the Eagles and Cardinals for a few years.

Looks like Bennett was focused on Mangold and didn't realize Sherman suddenly took a knee, or was in the process of taking a knee when he went in for the block... kind of a bang bang play.

Yeah, I dunno man, he wasn't going to let Mangold cheap shot Sherman....They'd been doing it all game long; he was just erring on the side of his Seahawk brother.
The Jets messed up by trying to play "Cheap Shot Smash Mouth" like the Rams have been doing and getting away with.

This one needs to be fined. That is some punk-ass BS.

Simple. Bennett was a bit over aggressive but in line of the game. The dirty hit on Bennett was dirty and cheap and dangerous. That guy should be suspended.

Knowing what his teammate did earlier in the game to MB, its pretty ballsy to then moan about being pushed.
