So is

1. Pete messing with all of us and it means absolutely nothing?
2. Earl has decided to end his holdout and is coming back?
3. We are working on a deal to trade for Khalil Mack, who is holding out in Oakland?

I would be happy with either option 2 or 3. Although option 3 would be a very expensive one.

I saw this too. I think Pete's just trolling, but who knows. If it's a trade Mack for Earl, I'm with it!

What about Mack strong coming back to coach the running backs or he is raising the flag tomorrow night

Or he's simply acknowledging the 12's being back at home Thursday or the season that's coming.

Of course, Carroll must have heard some of the speculation tying holdouts Earl Thomas and Khalil Mack together. That trade doesn’t make a lot of sense on its face. Perhaps Carroll is eluding to this to put pressure on Earl to return to the team? Or pressure on Frank Clark to get back to practice and step up his game? Or maybe he just wanted to share his love for 90s R&B? He always has plausible deniability. But this certainly will stir the pot, heading into the final preseason game.

My immediate response is to say yes... but I’d have a hard time parting with Frank. Dude is gonna prove worthy... I think Oakland may want to unload as well... intriguing at minimum.

There may be something to this. If you Google songs with Mack or Mack songs Return of the mack is the first thing that pops up. Same thing on youtube. So, and I know I'm reaching, but it does appear Pete searched Mack songs.
