Great learning experience for sure. Every player started somewhere. Would rather have it be KJ, but hopefully he'll be back sooner than later.

Shaqem is going to have all the help he can ask for, he has played well to date, the schemes he will see is what will take time to adjust to since we have not seen the Broncos with Keenum, but the whole defense has to adjust to that as well. KJ and Wags will be there coaching on the Field as well, if he can play down hill we will be fine.

If there was any rookie on the team that I would want thrusted into game time from week one, it would be 'Quem. He might be in a little over his head and make some mistakes, but I think he's going to be all over the place on Sunday. This whole defense is going to feel some growing pains with all the new faces, but 'Quem has some things to bring to the table that Wright and others don't.

I will admit that I have thought of the disadvantages. Not with catching picks, that was silly. But with final attempts at tackling. Shoe-string tackles and getting a chunk of jersey to help secure.

But I also know the scenarios are rare and not a hindrance to his overall talent. The kid is a beast. He's quick and strong and can obviously be a major asset on almost every play. So his pro's far out weigh any negatives.

How that guy/writer convinced himself that an NFL player without a hand will surely be at too big of a disadvantage, was being ridiculous. JJ Watt's hand cast says differently. JPP's drunken-holiday-bbq hand says differently. Anybody with eyes who has been watching the kid, would say differently.

In the pic it looks like he is making the tackle as they guy with the ball is going to the ground. The strip sack might be tough for him but not much else.

He looks exactly to be in the same place his brother was last year. Hope he does nothing but get better because you can be critical about some things he does but damn,,,,,,,,, he is playing way above expectations of a rookie.
