Ford was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent in May 2018 and saw playing time in 11 games throughout the 2018 season. He recorded a total of 19 tackles, 11 of which were solo tackles. The Texas alumnus is known for his unique build for a defensive tackle, short with a very long reach.
When asked about the 2018 draft class, Pete Carroll stated in a press conference, “I think it’s a group that’s going to be here for a long-time factoring in. They have special qualities that we love… I think the depth of it and the consistency throughout is what’s really good about it.”
With the 2019 NFL draft just a couple of months away and the NFL Scouting Combine next week, the team is getting ready to take on their new rookie class. The Seattle Seahawks sit at 21st pick overall.
