I remember reading a discussion about the availability of a 2013 season DVD but cannot find it.

Could someone please be so kind as to direct me, thank you.

Fanatics has both the DVD and Blu-Ray for order. The actually items haven't been created yet I don't think. They're supposed to ship in March sometime. There are more extras on the Blu-Ray vs. the DVD.

Use the link above so .net gets a small commission to help pay for the site.

All I saw on there was the Super Bowl DVD/Blu-Ray. Is there an actual full season DVD/Blu-Ray?

This DVD/Blu Ray has a recap of every game from the whole season. It shows the trophy on the cover and says Super Bowl DVD, but if you read the descriptions or have seen any of these videos in the past, you'll see that it is for the whole season. They do a good job with these, it's a great way to re-live the whole year in one sitting.

Im pretty sure this is the same one that comes with the Sports Illustrated package, along with the football and artbook.

But to be clear, the only way to get SBXLVIII or the NFCCG in HD is not to delete it from your DVR, correct? ;)

I hope that some day the NFL and MLB and others will find a way to stream or sell entire seasons. In football it might not be that bad but 162 baseball games would take up a lot of blu-rays.

We don't have a DVR at our house, so I just spent $3.99 to download the SB from iTunes (in HD). I think they had the NFCCG too.

Rewind gives you the last five seasons, but it would be nice to have tiering options to get seasons from before the past five.

I posted this elsewhere, but it's probably better suited to be in this discussion. NFL Films annually releases two different Blu-ray/DVD sets for the Super Bowl winners. The first is titled "Super Bowl Champions <Roman Numerals of Super Bowl>: <Year> <Winning Team>" and releases in early March. This release contains quick summaries of each game, with the playoff games getting a little more runtime, and the Super Bowl naturally getting the biggest chunk. It includes sideline and locker room footage, interviews, media day and some pieces on the most relevant storylines surrounding the team's season. I believe this is a 1-Disc release.

The second is titled "<Winning Team>: Road to <Roman Numerals of Super Bowl>" and releases in early June. This has always been a multi-disc release and contains trimmed down versions of the initial broadcast of 4 games (all 4 playoff games if the team played 4, otherwise the 3 + 1 of the more memorable regular season games) with no commercials or between play analysis. There are little to no special features on this release except a trivia track.

Oh, and they're probably a lot cheaper anywhere else than the NFL Pro Shop.

Your DVR is one of your "five things you'd save in a fire", isn't it?

Got my blu-ray ordered, now I sit & twittle my thumbs till it shows up. Till then, keep an eye on this guy on youtube...

He's got really cool highlight videos up of the Carolina & Houston games and says he's going to have a full season highlight video up soon. Should be really cool.
