Bennett's contract is essentially a 3 yr deal worth 21 million.

Really a 3 yr, 19 mil deal but his cap hit in his 4th year is 9.5 m but the Seahawks can cut him to save $7.5million which will cost them 2m in dead money thus the 21 mil.

How the hell did we pull that off in the last minute?

McDaniel's contract could be essentially a 1 yr, 2.75 deal.

He's slated to make 2.125m in 2014 but if the team cut's him 2015 to save $3m, he'll only cost .625 mil thus a 1 yr, 2.75 contract. However, if he just repeats his 2013 performance in the next 2 years, he would have been worth almost twice as much than what he earned in all three years as a Seahawk (3 yrs, 13 million)

For Hauschka, over the cap puts him at a 3 yr, 8.55m deal.

He earns: 1.7 in 2014, 3.325 in 2015, and 3.525 in 2016 .

Not bad, and if he continues to improve his long range strength, he could possibly be the best kicker in the NFL within a year or two which would only vindicate his contract more. Key words: if and could.
