Ok the other thread about Carroll got me thinking. Let's do a thread of the best of all time at each position. To make a little room for those "tougher decisions" I think we should do a top 2 at each position. I may forget one or two positions so feel free to add any to the list.

2)

2)

Safety
1)
2)

Cornerback
1)
2)

Kicker
1)
2)

Punter

I have left them blank so it's easy to just copy and paste to create your lists. This should be interesting

I want to do a bit of research on mine, and since I'm at work, it will take me a bit of time, but thought others could get started and I'll post mine soon

Safety is gonna be tough. Kam, Earl, or Easley?
Kinda soon to put Earl over K Easley. He can be, but Easley is legend in Seattle.

I think Kam would be in direct competition to Easley. Earl plays a different style and role.

EDIT: I struggled with a couple....mostly keeping Lynch and Dave Brown out of the top 2 at their positions. It was also tough not putting Coach Knox up there. Same with Brian Blades....but I couldn't bump Galloway because in terms of pure athleticism and ability to dominate a game at any time, Galloway was unmatched.

Agreed. You gots to be smoking to leave John L off the list. Oh, and I think Dave Brown was way better than Shawn Springs.

Damn good list Throw.

I would add Rusty Tillman as coordinator, but agree with just about every thing else.

thank you...I've been racking my brain trying to think of his name and I was drawing a blank for some reason.

Yep, this is what I was thinking. There has to be some age positioning here. Like here, the author,,,,30's,,,I thingk 35+ in age. Im 38 and these are definitely my picks, from my experience

dont' have time to fill this out now but i'll take knox over holmgren all day and pete above both.

Nothing against holmgren really, I just was never a fan of his coaching style. Can only witness so many 3rd down and 4+ draw plays, didn't like a lot of his personnel choices.
