No, he means Guy Lombardo, the guy who coached against Ham Stank in Super Bowl I, and against Jim Mudden in Super Bowl II.

Both games were played in Metropolitan New York, in the Superdome.

As a kid, growing up in NYC, actually saw Guy Lombardo, both on stage, and the boat races.....yes, I'm that old! :les:

When Guy Lombardo called for the notorious "Lombardo Wedge" play, everybody in the stadium knew what was coming. The defensive players would scream "WEDGE! WEDGE!" but they still couldn't stop it. The cheese-head honors this ghastly, horrifying play to this very day.

Didn't he get poisoned and chucked off a sailboat into the Gulf by one of them?
