I have over the years, but it's been a while. I think the last thing I had was a Jaguars shirt from 03 or 04 that I got on a clearance rack at Marshall's for like six bucks. I like football that much, that as long as it's not a hated rival I'm ok with it. Obviously all NFC West opponents, Steelers and now Patriots are for sure off limits. Plus who would want to wear that anyway. Yucky.

Mr. dbmack wears his 49er's cap every once in awhile, but he mostly wears his Seahawks one.

He hasn't worn a 49er t-shirt for several years though. He used to wear one a lot when I first met him, almost 20 years ago.

I've got a Calvin jersey, a Revis Jets jersey, several Vick jerseys from a while back, a Chuck Woodson Raiders jersey, a Percy Harvin Minnesota jersey, and I think that is about it for current players. Used to have many more though.

Might as well have asked "do you have sex with just women...or do you sometimes sleep with other sexes?"

Zebulon would've replied "I found a cheap male escort once, outside Marshalls. I'm that much a fan of intimacy"

Tical would've then hit a walkoff with his list of exploits.

I recently bought a Johnny Unitas. He retired when I was 1..I dont really consider it anything than a statement about the game, not his team. In my opinion you can rep the all time greats from eras past because they sort of belong to football now, not just their team.

I could be lying to myself. But its cool.

I had a Seahawks uniform addiction about 15 years ago. At that time I had amassed a lot of stuff and expense and had devoted a room of my house to historical Seahawks swag. As part of the numerous online transactions I made I would acquire "jerseys of significance" like authentic Sonics, Mariners, and even the Seattle Totems sweaters. If you were to have asked me this question then, I would have answered "nothing but Seattle".

As part of a wife-imposed treatment program, I have systematically eliminated the problem, and have boiled it down to a handful of stuff that "is more like it" in terms of a reasonable collection. Actually, I sent my last M's jersey to dbmack so I'm down to all Seahawks stuff now and that's how it will stay.

Things they way they are, with the new shop, all my spare cash goes into tools and equipment now. So I don't even own the new uniform stuff yet. Thinking about a Wilson before the start of the season though.

I think it would be cool to have a nice authentic Marino (in teal of course). Historic, record-holding NFL players of the past are an excellent choice to have on when joining a group of friends at the sports bar. Provided there was no Hawks game on.

Can any of the new legit gear be found anywhere other than NFL/Seahawk auction? Never seen any of the new uni gear on eBay?

There is a place called Marinos in Vegas next to Hooters Hotel and Casino. I went there many years ago and got a friend of mine who is a Dolphin fan a hat. I dont recall all the things they had in that little store. He and wife were kind enough to get me a Hooters shirt from Florida with all the girls there signing it. Not sure if it is still there or not. The way things in Vegas go, It may still be there?

You can find stuff on eBay, but you gotta play with the search criteria a lot to get to it. I had success searching for specific players mostly, but ended up setting up searches that would email me when something was listed within my criteria. Patience and relentlessness required.

The other thing you can do is search the local memorabilia dealers. Mill Creek Sports still there?

Pretty much spot on.

During my life time I've had a Bears shirt because I loved Walter Payton, a Falcons hat & bandanna because I loved Deion Sanders & Andre Rison, a Cowboys hat and sweatshirt because I loved Michael Irvin, a Ravens hoodie because I loved Jamal Lewis and that whole 2000 defense, and a Jaguars t-shirt because the male escort I once found outside Marshalls had it in my size but not change for a $20.

I've never really felt conflicted about it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
