If the Detroit Lions were to cut him before the 5 years are up... and the Seahawks were to sign him again. Would we have to pay the remaining deal that Detroit had offered?

Contracts only move if the player is traded, and then only the payable portion of the contract, the new team isn't on the hook for the pro-rated signing bonus at all.

If a player is cut, he would have to sign a new deal with a new team.
